Best all around experience anywhere near the price in this area. What you’ll immediately realize is that you’re in good hands with a host that cares about his clients. Mr. Mayur Patel is one of a kind and staying here for our night stop on our road trip proved to be a great decision! Rooms are well maintained and our king room had a nice sized bathroom and comfortable bed. We’ll be staying here next time for sure!

This is not your luxury hotel of course but the owner has a luxurious heart! One that can change your life, he has worked with me and given me amazing deals to be able to house my kids and not have to worry about sleeping on the streets! I absolutely adore this man and his sons! They have been a huge blessing to me! I highly recommend staying here if you are ever in need! A heart of gold mayor Patel has!

Incredibly kind staff. Reduced our price for a two bedroom after we showed them a lower rate we found online. Very clean rooms as well. Will definitely stay here again if we return!

The room was very clean, bed was comfortable. I like how the smart TV they had let me log into my nextflix and hbo max. The owner let me check in early and it was smooth. The owner is a great guy.

Service was wonderful, very friendly and helpful, even giving us some suggestions on cool places to go. We arrived a few hours early, rather than us having to wait to check in, they accommodated the situation, and we were able to check in early. The room was cozy with a king size bed, a full size refrigerator and kitchenette, plenty comfy. We definitely look forward to staying again on our next trip to ventura. Thank you for the hospitality.

4/5 Pleasing My mom and I stayed here one night on our trip down the coast. It was a last minute decision to stay, and the area itself was a bit worrisome upon booking. So many other places in the surrounding area had frightening reviews! Upon arrival, we felt a bit nervous, but were quickly put at ease by the owner/gentleman at the front desk. He was very plesant, reassuring, and considerate. Upon entering the room, its what you would expect from a motel. Nothing more, nothing less. It was dated in its appearance but still very clean and had basic amenities such as soap and shampoos and a refrigerator. We didnt need much. But for others traveling, there is no microwave or coffee maker. The chair in the room was a bit stained, but we didnt use it. You could definitely feel the springs through the bed, but we still slept just fine. My only complaints would be that the TV only offered 1 channel, and the walls are VERY thin. We happened to have a couple arguing the entire night next door to us, but with only 1 channel on the tv, it just added entertianment lol. For anyone on a budget, just looking for a quick clean stay, I would definitely recommend.

Clean, spacious and cozy rooms, decent price for the location which is a few blocks up from the bay and a block away from the local mall and down town so it's perfect if you are vactioning with family and friends, kids are welcome and great parking. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to your needs, Mr. Patel is the owner of the Bayshore and he's one of the sweetest people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. So what are you waiting for book now cause spot fill up fast!

We have been here a few times due to its proximity to ventura hospital. The staff is excellent, everyone is so helpful and nice. The rooms are very basic but clean. The ones we have stayed in had microwaves and mini fridges so that has been most helpful. The location I'd good in that it is very close to shops and the hospital. It is a bit tricky to find, so a GPS and slowing down as you near the turn are suggested. They have an accessible room with a lovely walk in shower. This has been helpful for my husband who can have some mobility issues. Definitely recommended.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our conversation with him and had a very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

This was my first time being in California, all by myself, my flight got in very late and I waited till last minute to find a place to stay. I called this wonderful hotel and asked about the room availability, prices and whatnot. The guy at the service desk was very kind, stayed up very late to wait for me to arrive, even gave me directions, took very good care of me. The room was nice, clean and quiet, the area was safe. Lots of great shops and things to do, in walking distance too. If I'm ever back in California I'll definitely stay again. Thank you!
